This album started out as a single song to thank my dear friend Doug Johnson for being such a good supporter of my music, and of all artists in general. The single song really got away from me, and became this whole album, and I am ok with that. The album was almost entirely recorded using analog synthesizers and drum machines. The exceptions are live piano and live tom drums on a couple tracks. The strings and choirs found on a couple tracks were arranged on an analog synth and processed through an Electro Harmonix Mel9 pedal (emulates a Mellotron). Synths used on this album were the Arturia MiniBrute, Akai Timbre Wolf, and Korg Volca Bass. The drum machine was an Akai Tom Cat. Ambient processing of synths was done through a T.C. Electronic Hall of Fame reverb pedal. Proof that you don't need thousands of dollars worth of equipment to create. So get out there and express yourself!
